Under normal circumstances, you can successfully pass the health certificate physical examination during menstruation, and you will not be judged as unqualified just because you are in your menstrual period.
When I applied for a health certificate for the catering industry last summer, it happened to be the second day of my period. I was holding the appointment code for half an hour and struggled with whether to reschedule. I was afraid that the urine test would be a waste of time. The nurse at the on-site consultation desk laughed immediately after hearing this and said that the examination items of the health certificate did not involve gynecological screening at all. Everyone was worried about whether the urine routine would be contaminated by menstrual blood and give a false positive. As long as you wipe the vulva first when you urinate, and do not mix the urine in the middle with menstrual blood. I followed the nurse's instructions that day and got a qualified health certificate that afternoon. Last week, I accompanied my assistant Xiao Zhou to apply for a health certificate in public places. She also came here, and there were no problems at all.
Of course, many people with experience will suggest that it is best to avoid the first two or three days of menstruation. This does not mean that it will be unqualified. The main reason is that if you accidentally mix menstrual blood when you urinate, and the urine routine is positive for occult blood, you will have to go out for a retest, which will waste time. Oh, by the way, don’t panic even if this happens. As long as you explain to the doctor that you are in your menstrual period, they will not directly judge you as unqualified. You will either have to re-dry your urine on the spot or make an appointment for a re-test.
Essentially, the health certificate screens for diseases such as hepatitis A, hepatitis E, active tuberculosis, and suppurative exudative dermatosis that can be transmitted through contact and are not suitable for working in the public service/catering industry. They have nothing to do with the normal physiological changes of the menstrual period. There is no need to postpone the physical examination because of the visit. If the time is convenient, it will certainly be more worry-free. There is no need to worry if it happens.
