      The effect of massaging Qihai acupoints

      Location: The Qihai point of the human body is located in the lower abdomen, on the front midline, 1.5 inches below the middle of the navel. When selecting acupoints, you can lie on your back. Qihai point is located in the lower abdomen of the human body. It connects the navel and the top of the pubic bone in a straight line. It is divided into ten equal parts. This point is located 3/10 from the navel.

      Anatomy: On the abdominal white line, the deep part is the small intestine; there are branches of the superficial epigastric artery and vein, branches of the inferior epigastric artery and vein; and there are medial branches of the anterior cutaneous branch of the eleventh intercostal nerve.

      Indications: Qi deficiency syndromes such as collapse, emaciation, exhaustion of internal organs, and fatigue; intestinal diseases such as indigestion, pain around the navel, diarrhea, dysentery, and constipation; difficulty in urination and enuresis; spermatorrhea, impotence, and hernia; irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, uterine bleeding, vaginal discharge, ejaculation, persistent lochia, and retained afterbirth. Edema and bulging, distended epigastrium, constipation, incontinent diarrhea, stranguria, postpartum lochia, lingering afterbirth, and weakness in the limbs. Gynecological diseases, low back pain, loss of appetite, nocturia, stunted growth in children, etc.

      Acupuncture and moxibustion: Acupuncture 0.5 to 1 inch straight; moxibustion can be used. Pregnant women should use with caution. If it's cold, use moxibustion to replenish it; if it's hot, use purging needles to relieve qi.

      Compatibility: Use with Sanyinjiao point to treat white turbidity and spermatorrhea;

      Use Guanyuan point to treat postpartum lochia;

      Use moxibustion at Guanyuan, Gaoming and Zusanli points to treat wheezing and shortness of breath (vital energy deficiency);
