What does prostatitis feel like?

Prostatitis may cause symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, difficulty urinating, and lower abdominal pain.

When prostatitis attacks, the patient may experience frequent urination, and it is not ruled out that difficulty in urinating may cause lower abdominal pain.

If a patient has a particularly urgent need to urinate in life, he or she will usually feel the urge to urinate for a few minutes and feel unable to hold it in. This may be due to prostatitis.

If the penis hurts when urinating, it cannot be ruled out that it is caused by prostatitis. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease may also cause irritation.
